We are bringing back our fan favourite Role Model sessions, except we’re going virtual! We are happy to announce that we will begin hosting Career Corner, monthly virtual role model sessions, that will take place the first Wednesday of every month (please note that there will not be session in January, 2021).
Each session will be a half-hour long, starting at 6:30 pm (Atlantic) and will feature two different female STEM role models who will discuss their careers. Be sure to mark your calendars!
RSVP will be required to participate, you can RSVP for individual sessions OR for the full year. To RSVP email Sally at WISEatlantic@msvu.ca with your name, active email, and age.

We will be re-showing the panel sessions from our Stepping Forward Workshop for Female Postdocs in STEM, for those who were unable to attend.
The original Stepping Forward Workshop, which took place November 26 & 27, 2020, aimed to give female Postdoc’s in Canada the tools and advice they need to take the next step in their careers, whether that be in academia, industry, or government.
The re-broadcast will also take place over two days, February 16 & 18th, 2021, starting at 1:00pm (Atlantic Time) both days. It will feature the following recorded panel sessions and will be moderated by WISEatlantic Chair, Dr. Franz-Odendaal:
