STEMaware is an opportunity for girls in grades 10 to 12 to discover careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) by meeting and chatting with Mount Saint Vincent University graduates currently working in these fields. Girls will be joined by current Bachelor of Science students at MSVU, and together attendees will discover the diverse options that are available for science graduates!

Join us November 16, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm for a free one-day event for Aboriginal youth in grades 7-12. Participants will explore science through fun hands-on activities, and discover careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) by meeting and chatting with professionals working in STEM fields. Lunch will be provided.

From November 6 to 8, 2017, advocates of gender equality policy from science, innovation and development fields are invited to participate in the Gender Summit North America 2017, to be held in Montréal, Canada. The summit will engage individuals and communities in transformative actions on gender equity, pluralism, ethnicity, and inclusion in science and STEM, social science and health research. Those present will have the opportunity to engage in fruitful discussions under the overarching theme of “Pluralism, Ethnicity & Inclusion – Canadian Values in a Global Context.”
